Thomas Van Boeckel publishes Reports on the COVID19 situation in Switzerland

Branco Weiss Fellow Thomas Van Boeckel, an assistant professor at ETH Zurich, is issuing reports on the COVID19 situation in Switzerland on a regular basis. These papers are not peer reviewed, as the timeline of informing about an epidemic is not compatible with publications in traditional journals. However, these reports have nevertheless received a bit of attention on social media.

At ETH, Thomas Van Boeckel develops maps of antimicrobial resistance, and explores economic incentives to reduce antimicrobial use in animals. His work aims to inform policy makers, on a global level, to address the challenge posed by the rise of drug-resistant pathogens in animals.
